No mustache

I got rid of my mustache but not my long hair! I don't miss the mustache at all!

I hit a poor deer recently. I hated that and it busted up my Jeep in a minor way! It just broke the left side fender flares but did not bend any metal! I was very lucky and apparently so was the deer as it ran off and did not get hurt too bad ( I hope)! The deer actually ran into me and bounced off!

Warmer today - still 60 degrees now but we have a nice breeze here in Nathrop!

Still waiting!

I am still waiting for our condo in Salida to sell! It is located at 1592 Holman Avenue in Salida, Colorado. My wife and I are separated and she is living in Iowa and wants to get the money from our equity in the condo so she can buy a house! I just want it to sell so I can do a number of things: Pay off Jeep, buy new motorcycle, buy a car, and start paying down my loan on my home here in Nathrop!

Firearms training

I recently took a class in the handling of firearms with the intent of getting my concealed weapons permit. I took the course on August 23, 2008 from Lockett, Inc. The course was fantastic in that we covered the elements of safety and the proper handling of a firearm. I learned a lot and was really pleased with how well I was able to shoot my XD 45!!! I would recommend this course to anyone that handles firearms even if you don't intend to get your concealed weapons permit.

I had a concealed weapons permit when I lived in Iowa and decided it was time to get my permit here in Colorado. I had passed a federal background check in 2006 while working for a time as a security guard so I hope my background check will process quickly! I will post it when I get my permit!
